Out of School care

Continuing Care for Children in Kindergarten to Grade 6!

Hummingbird Out-of-School Care Program

We’re excited to offer families a seamless continuation of care as their children transition to school in September 2025! To get to know our new families and start the school year on a high note, we’ll be hosting a dynamic summer program full of engaging activities that challenge children physically and mentally.

Activities to suit their interests

We encourage our school-aged children to share what excites them, using their interests as inspiration to shape our program materials, furniture, and daily plans. We’re also fortunate to collaborate with our local community, inviting expert volunteers to share their skills and passions with the children, enriching their experience in meaningful ways.

Homework and School Support

We understand that families may need support in helping their students navigate challenging concepts at school. That’s why we offer homework assistance led by an Alberta Permanent Professional teacher and carefully selected members of our community.

By completing homework at daycare, children free up their evenings, allowing families to spend more quality time together.

Field Trips

Field trips provide children with hands-on learning experiences that bring classroom concepts to life. They spark curiosity, encourage teamwork, and connect children to their community while fostering creativity and independence.

Beyond education, these outings build practical life skills, boost confidence, and create memorable experiences that inspire a lifelong love of learning.
